We got married last Saturday at Montalto and started out our day with a private group yoga session with Liz. We felt so relaxed and grounded to start our day and got to spend great quality time with members of our family we rarely get to see. The partner yoga moves she showed us were so great for creating a sense of connection with each other (particularly fun with my now husband) which we carried all through the next few days. I highly recommend wedding yoga with Liz!

“I cannot say enough great things about the relaxing and rejuvenating yoga session I had with Liz Reynolds on my wedding day! My husband and I recently got married at the Clifton Inn in Charlottesville. It was my goal to set a relaxing and stress free tone for the entire day and I couldn’t think of a better way than beginning with a yoga session out by the infinity pool. I invited all the guests staying at the Clifton with us so we had a great turn out of family and friends including my in-laws who are in their 70’s as well as children. Liz did such a great job teaching a multi-level class! And she had beautiful words and invigorating messages to share throughout the session. I remember looking up at the beautiful blue sky during the poses and feeling so refreshed and filled with happiness… and I continued to carry that glow throughout the day! If yoga is an important part of your life or even if you just want to have a fun family activity to start your special day I strongly recommend Liz Reynolds with Zen Bride Yoga! She’s such a sweetheart and so easy to work with. I foresee Zen Bride Yoga doing great things for the wedding industry in the Charlottesville area! Namaste!”

I had a Yoga with the Bride event on the morning of my wedding because I wanted a quiet space to breath, move, and connect with my community through a physical practice. It kept me calm, focused, and present so I could absorb every moment of that special day. Taking the opportunity to be centered on my wedding day was another way that I made the day reflective of who I am.

Liz did an excellent job leading my daughter and her bridesmaids in yoga on the morning of the wedding. I particularly appreciated that she carefully listened to what we wanted to gain from that special time together and led the group being considerate of that. We asked her to incorporate some Psalms and she was happy to include passages that were so personally meaningful to us. It was a wonderful way to start the day!
